A phone, a tablet and a laptop each have their own storage — none of them quite enough, and each roughly half empty.
What if storage were pooled the way networks are? Each device keeps only what it needs soon, everything else lives in one shared space and is fetched on demand. Then the 256G-versus-512G decision disappears, and no one deletes photos just because a trip filled the phone.
The real difficulty is latency and offline use: when the network is bad, the file still has to be at hand. So this is less a capacity problem than a policy problem — deciding what to keep local.
Life needs less overthinking. Do more. Feel more.
